Økolariet is a new and different knowledge and exhibition centre that builds a bridge between the Agenda 21 resolution in Rio and specific action in Denmark.

Økolariet is centrally situated in the City of Vejle, just a stone's throw from Vejle Station and the new traffic centre.

Økolariet is the place where families, schools, business and tourists may drop in for adventures, knowledge and inspiration on nature, energy and the environment. The admission is free but guided tours and lessons require booking.

Økolariet is also the place where residents, associations, utility companies, enterprises, agriculture and municipalities co-operate on exhibitions, lessons and activities as part of the work towards a sustainable development.
